Sinopsis : This proceeding represents the current realities facing the cultural relationship between Indonesia and Korea within musical fields. Nearly all the papers received through the open call proposed research about K-pop. This proceeding corroborates the phenomena described above, and we feel it represents the interests of Indonesian scholars concerning Korean studies. To enrich the breadth of topics researched in Indonesian Korean Studies programs, we supplemented these K-pop articles with presentations from experts in other fields, such as traditional music, performance studies, music composition, and cultural diplomacy.
